Japanese honey bees are known to fight a hornet with a hot defensive bee balls that surrounds the hornet with dozens of honeybees. Western honey bees are believed to have no counterneasure against giant hornets. Contrary to this common view, this is a valuable video of western honey bees defeating a giant hornet with the bee ball.
